These maps show the homogeneity test results for selected elements. The results are obtained for segments of the blended series at each station within fixed time periods. A description of the homogeneity tests that have been applied is given in Project Info > ATBD.

In short, a two-step approach has been followed. First, four common homogeneity tests were applied to evaluate the daily series. Second, the test results were condensed for each series into three classes: ‘useful-doubtful-suspect’. Only the ‘useful’ and ‘doubtful’ series are further analysed in ECA&D. For series with less than 80% data availability no homogeneity test results are calculated.
